Brushed aluminum plate is a manufacturing process in which the aluminum plate is forcibly passed through a mold under external force, and the lines are pulled out. The aluminum plate manufacturer divides the main process into three parts: ester removal, sand grinding, and water washing.
After wire drawing treatment, the surface of aluminum plates will have regular wire drawing textures. In terms of performance, wire drawn aluminum plates are like ordinary aluminum plates, easy to scratch, not resistant to UV rays, and not resistant to washing. However, after oxidation, a very good protective film will form on the surface of the brushed aluminum plate, which can provide good protection. This special oxide film cannot be directly oxidized by placing the aluminum plate in air. The naturally oxidized brushed aluminum plate in the air cannot provide anti-corrosion effect. To give the brushed aluminum plate a special oxide film, it is necessary to place it in the corresponding electrolytic solution and undergo a series of process treatments. This layer of oxide film can endow the oxidized brushed aluminum plate with excellent performance, such as scratch resistance, UV resistance, washing resistance, fingerprint resistance, no dust absorption, and multiple colors to choose from.
When selecting brushed aluminum panels, it is important to understand whether there is an oxidation process in place. Oxidation processes can greatly improve the performance of brushed aluminum panels, making them suitable for industries such as building decoration, household appliances, switch panels, automotive accessories, lighting fixtures, and electronic hardware.
